The Mad King's Ire - A Dungeon Crawling Boardgame

First of all, once again, a massive heartfelt thank you to everyone that has backed The Mad King’s Ire so far and an extra thank you to everyone that has also filled in their pledge manager!

We still have around 10% of backers with incomplete Pledge Managers, so please check your e-mails for the link, if you haven’t had the link please reach out to me directly glenn@convergegames.co.uk and we’ll see what we can do! We want to get your game to you as soon as possible and we can only do this if we have your addresses!

For those that haven’t backed yet, this will be your very last chance to get all the special extras we have on offer. For those of you who are considering upgrading to the Royal Edition, make sure you do so soon, we are only manufacturing a limited number of Enhanced Token and Acrylic Standee packs, these are crowd funding exclusives, so if you don’t get them now, you will miss out!

Even if you’ve already checked out on the pledge manager and want to upgrade there is still time to do so!

Click here to head to Hive and back or upgrade your pledge, this is your very last chance!

Check out our final art box renders for all Mad King’s Ire Goodies! And, yes, that is a lot of content!

Production Update

I am happy to say our proof reading and testing is all now 100% complete, and not only that, all files have been sent to our amazing partners at Panda to begin manufacturing.

It won’t be long before we receive our pre-production proof copy! I’ll post another update after it has arrived, perhaps with some unboxing content for those interested!

Timeline

We are still on track to begin Shipping in March, our estimation at the moment is that you will start receiving your games late May 2027, but I will of course continue to keep you all updated!

What Else is Happening at Converge Games?

You may have noticed our socials have been fairly quiet of late, that is mostly my fault, it’s been rather busy finishing The Mad King’s Ire and working on our next projects.

We have some really exciting announcements to come, including something big for TTRPG fans; a massive update to our TTRPG, and something for those of you that love Dungeons and Dragons.

And of course also, our next game, The Archmage’s Favour, a competitive card game of spellslinging and sabotage will be launching on Kickstarter next year, more info to come soon!

Thank you so much once again, and don’t forget to pledge if you haven’t already, time is running out!

Talk Soon!
